Eunice, New Mexico danced across the slick backside of a late afternoon rainbow.
Caroline told them, “There’s been progress. The cost of solar and wind power is going down. In a lot of places solar is now cheaper than coal or hydro.
“But carbon dioxide and greenhouse gas emissions are up. No wonder global warming isn’t leveling off. Hurricanes and heat waves, wildfires, a rising sea level, they’ll all get worse in the years ahead.
“It’s all from the damage that’s been done so far, not problems we’re still piling up.”
Eunice, New Mexico knew it wouldn’t be long before another rainbow arrived.
