Medimont, Idaho just might be the town that turned things around for him.

But right now the middle of his back was ablaze.  The doc spun out some thoracic mumbo jumbo.

Clearly not a doc who graduated in the top half of his class.

It was his own damned fault.  If he hadn’t triggered the security system, if he hadn’t leapt off the shaky railing of that second-floor balcony of the house on Cave Lake, he wouldn’t be sitting in this emergency care clinic.

But he had the necklaces and the guns.  The Kimber Classic Carry Elite was a pleasant surprise.

In another minute or two he would pay off the doc and highball it south, back to his girlfriend in National City, California.
